Your privacy on Stackified
Stackified has no accounts and collects no email addresses. Analytics is off until you allow it, and you can change your mind here at any time.
What we collect
Only if you choose Allow analytics, we record anonymous usage events:
- Page views, using the page address without any search or link parameters.
- Which guide or workflow you open, and how you got to it if the link carries a campaign tag.
- Search metadata: how long your search was, how many words, how many results and which filters you used. We never record what you type.
- Workflow progress events: which workflow and step you ticked or reset, and how many steps are done.
- Which main buttons you click, such as “Explore guides.”
- Whether you’re on a phone, tablet or desktop. PostHog also adds basic browser details such as browser, operating system and screen size, and receives your IP address as part of the request.
We don’t record sessions, we don’t use accounts, and we don’t collect your name or email address.
Browser storage
Stackified saves a few things on your browser using local storage:
stackified:progress:v1holds your workflow ticks and last viewed step. It never leaves your browser.stackified:analytics:v1holds your analytics choice.- If you allow analytics, PostHog also stores a random anonymous ID so repeat visits can be counted together.
Your choices
Analytics stays off if your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. Otherwise it’s off until you allow it. Your choice is saved on this browser.
Clear your progress
Remove your ticks and saved places for every workflow on this browser.
Third parties
Analytics is provided by PostHog, hosted in the United States. Events are sent to PostHog only if you allow analytics. Stackified does not sell your data or share it for advertising.
